The donation amount is limited to $1000 per individual per election cycle. Should there be a primary individuals are allowed to donate $1000 in the primary and $1000 in the general. Should there not be a primary individuals are only allowed to donate $1000 total. Couples are allowed to donate a total of $2000, $1000 per spouse.
